The Dance Gallery Dress Code

divider

Our dress code is very specific. We ask that students wear dance clothing that is appropriate. The following is considered appropriate attire: any color leotard, tights, and ballet skirts for ballet if desired. Booty shorts may be worn over leotards. Proper shoes must also be worn for all classes, shows, competitions, and the recital. This means wearing ballet shoes for ballet, acro shoes for acro, and jazz sneakers for Hip Hop. Teachers will inform students if specific shoes are required. Street clothing and street shoes are NOT appropriate. No jeans, cut-offs, pajamas, shorts, bobby-socks, or sneakers. No bare feet are permitted on acro mats unless discussed with teacher. You will not be allowed to take class if your teacher feels you are improperly dressed or do not have appropriate shoes.

Please leave all jewelry at home, so you do not need to be asked to remove it.

Hair that is shoulder length must be pulled away from the face, longer than shoulder length must be pulled up and secured so it does not fly in the students face.

PLEASE REFER TO OUR DRESS CODE PAMPHLET FOR FURTHER DETAILS ON OUR DRESS CODE.
