On 6/23/20, by The Dance Gallery

YEAH! THE WAIT IS OVER! With Berks County “going green” we are FINALLY able to get back to dancing. We plan to reopen the studio on Monday, July 6, 2020. The schedule will pick up where we left off in March. Same classes, same time and hopefully all the same students. We then are planning a performance to get everyone using those costumes we have been waiting to hand out for 3 long months now! Those details have to be finalized due to the guidelines on group gatherings but we are anxious to get everyone performing those dances they have learned. More details to follow when we return. For those that already paid their March tuition, we owe you 2 weeks of lessons. For those that have not yet paid for March you will need to do so when we return. We then plan to have 4 more weeks of classes with tuition due for that month by July 23. The performance will be at end of those 6 weeks of lessons. We will have strict guidelines in place to help keep everyone safe and healthy. Anyone entering the studio will be required to wear a mask. Everyone will be required to sanitize their hands upon entering and students will need to sanitize their hands before class. We ask that students arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before their class. Classes will be reduced to 50 minutes so we are able to have one class leaving the building as another arrives as we will take the temperature of anyone entering the building. Parents WILL NOT be permitted to stay to observe class except those who have young children (age 5 and under) in class. For young children only one adult may stay with the child, no siblings or other family members. Adults must observe social distancing. Parents will need to be at the studio to take their child when class is over, the students may not sit and wait for parents to arrive after class. Parents will be asked to sign a waiver concerning COVID-19. Parents needing to pay tuition will be permitted at the front desk only. Students are not permitted to stay at the studio when they do not have a class. We ask that students not bring their entire dance bag to the studio during this time. Please bring only the shoes you need in some sort of disposable bag so you can bring a clean bag each time you come to the studio. Water bottles will not be permitted in classrooms. Classroom floors have been marked to keep students distanced from one another. Any mutually used items such as the barre and mats will be sanitized after every class. We are all navigating new territory in an effort to continue to offer a quality dance education and still maintain a safe environment for all our students and families so please be patient. We are learning about this new way of life together and we are sure there will be some hiccups and changes along the way. However, with cooperation we can work this out together and keep all our students dancing. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation through this unprecedented time. We look forward to seeing everyone the week of July 6.
